The valley is a haven for wildlife. Last season over 35 different types of bird could be seen, including buzzards which nest nearby.
Thanks to Vicky, a guest in July, for compiling a list of 21 different species of butterfly (list available on request!).
There is also the chance to see all sorts of fish, frogs, lizards and pine martins, amongst the many other species to be found.
The grounds and surrounding areas offer potential for walks, wildlife discovery and bird/butterfly spotting!
